Helen Davies
“Ever since I can remember I have always had a passion for interior design and architecture. When on family holidays with my parents, exploring new areas, I would be fascinated by the different styles of buildings I’d see. To my parents annoyance I would walk very slowly past the houses I saw in the villages, towns or cities we’d visit, hoping to get a peak inside! I was desperate to see how others had styled their homes. My interest in buildings and their interiors never stopped. I’d be mesmerised by the colours, textures and patterns of the interiors, adsorbing the visual delights like a sponge.”
“I first studied a business course at university and on completion went to work for a large UK company as an office manager. My passion for interiors continued and eventually after 5 years in the office with my passion not satisfied I decided to go back to university and study for an Interior Design degree. During this time I had also bought my first home, completely renovated it and was on to the next project. After finishing my degree with a 1st Class Honours, I spent the next few years working and gaining experience in different area of the property world, spending time with a construction company an interior design practice, an architectural practice and soft furnishing business. I was lucky enough to gain valuable and interesting experience working for the National Trust as a Property Conservationist.
During a period of time I was at home raising my daughter and thats when I decided my next step in my career would be to start my own interior design practice.
I am now able to use my passion, qualifications and experience to help clients create their own beautiful interiors that reflect their lifestyle, taste and visions, always taking into account the functionality of space.
